Collaborative Career Events & Programs
Would you like to bring a custom career event to your students in collaboration with ELCS? Share your ideas with us!
Collaborative events may include:
- Career Fairs: ELCS can serve as your strategic partner in organizing career fairs and establishing connections with employers.
- Pop-Ups: Career coaches are also available for pop-up events at your location to support students with résumé development, interview preparation, and other key aspects of career development.

General Guidelines for Collaborative Events
The specifics can be discussed and agreed upon, but here are general considerations when entering into a collaboration with our office.

| Providing staff time and expertise in developing and presenting content. | Promoting the event to your students and faculty through all channels available (listservs, newsletters, class announcements, social media, departmental meetings, etc.). |
| Conducting outreach to employers (if applicable). | Scheduling the event during a time when most students are available to attend. |
| Providing ELCS swag and resources to attendees. | Incentivizing student attendance through such means as assigning it for courses or as extra credit, bringing groups of students during class time, and providing food/refreshments. |
| Providing day-of support, as needed, including room set-up, student check-in, etc. | |
