Griz Career Closet
The Griz Career Closet provides UM students with free professional and business-casual attire for interviews, career fairs, jobs, internships, and more. Professional clothing is expensive—and many students say it’s a barrier to feeling confident and career-ready.
The Griz Career Closet offers a free, inclusive, and sustainable solution through gently used attire donated by the UM and Missoula communities. We host donation drives and pop-up events each semester to remove clothing barriers, promote sustainability, and support student success.
This collaborative project is powered by Experiential Learning & Career Success (ELCS), Bear Necessities, Sustainability, Student Life, Gaming Den, Davidson Honors College, AccelerateMT .

“Many students on campus can’t afford nice clothes for things like job interviews. Providing students with this service is a small way to break this cycle so that students can succeed in their career.”
In the News
“Most students I know either don’t have any professional clothing or have very little and wish to have more options. Many would also like access to higher quality clothing that doesn’t break the bank with how expensive they are.”
