Join us for Stuff the Bus, one of the biggest single-day events of the Can the Cats Food Drive! On November 15, you can help beat the Bobcats and fight hunger here in Missoula by donating food or funds at 11 grocery stores across town.
As you shop, pick up a few extra nonperishable items or make a cash donation on your way out. Teams of volunteers will be stationed at each store to collect your donation and load them onto buses until they’re packed full of nourishment for our community.
Where to Donate
Find Stuff the Bus donation sites at these Missoula grocery stores:
- Albertsons – All Locations!
- Orange Street Food Farm
- Pattee Creek Market
- Rosauers
- Walmart – All Locations!
- Yoke’s Fresh Market – All Locations!
Each year, UM and MSU communities compete to see who can raise the most food for their local food bank. Last year, MSU took the win, but together we raised over 1.3 million pounds and dollars statewide. Let’s bring the trophy back to Griz Nation!
All Can the Cats donations go to the UM Food Pantry and Missoula Food Bank & Community Center, which serves 1 in 5 Missoulians – nearly 25,000 individuals and 7,500 households. The competition runs through the end of the first quarter of the Griz-Cat football game in Missoula on Nov. 22.
Help us nourish our friends and neighbors experiencing food insecurity in our community and Can the Cats off the field! Go Griz!
