As a current RN student, you are eligible for an employer sponsored loan repayment program to provide you with support for your education, whether you’re just beginning your program or are graduating in the near future.
Through the Lehigh Valley Health Network Scholars program, eligible RN students may receive up to $40,000 in loan repayment toward the cost of their education.
You apply while in your nursing program and, if selected, a job with LVHN is secured provided you successfully graduate, complete the standard onboarding process, and meet all basic requirements for the position.
After graduation, selected Scholars will transition into a full-time nursing role with a choice of 11 hospitals and a 3 year work commitment. If plans change and you’re unable to fulfill the full work commitment, you are not required to pay back any loan payments already received. This program is structured to eliminate risk for both the student/future employee and the employer.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a current nursing or pre-nursing student
- Must have a minimum 2.3 GPA
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States or be present in the U.S. under DACA and/or Temporary Protected Status (“TPS”)
